Later this month we’ll be travelling to New Jersey for the Celtic Showcase. It’s a show we attend deliberately.
It brings together makers and buyers from across Scotland, Ireland, Wales and the wider Celtic world; jewellery, knitwear, textiles, ceramics and giftware. Much of the work comes from workshops and families that have been making in the same way for generations. That matters to us. That’s the company we want to keep.
For Dalman & Narborough, events like this aren’t just about sales. They’re a chance to spend time among people who understand craft as a practice rather than a label. Being in that environment keeps standards sharp and expectations high, including our own.
We’ll be meeting existing partners while also taking time to see what’s emerging this season and where the conversation around making is moving next.
